A Los Angeles computer hacker was indicted by a federal grand jury in Denver for breaking into government computer systems in Berkeley, Denver and Fort Collins, Colo. Phillip Gonzalez Fadriquela, 26, allegedly used his home computer to gain unauthorized access to Department of Agriculture computer systems. “I was just playing with it, really, I didn’t know it was a government system,” he said. He allegedly gained access to unclassified information, a misdemeanor under a new federal law.
