Crazy Horse Is Declared Overall Winner of Race to Puerto Vallarta

With only one yacht still at sea Sunday, Del Rey Yacht Club wrote a finish to the 8th edition of its biennial Marina del Rey to Puerto Vallarta race.

The yacht Racy out of St. Francis Yacht Club was still fighting light, fluky airs in Banderos Bay at 2 p.m.

William Goodley’s Dakar of the host club finished Sunday after being detained several hours by Mexican authorities when she strayed too close to the penal colony at the Tres Marias Islands. There were no details of the boarding by a Mexican Navy vessel.
