Tens of thousands of Iranians--many of them shouting “Death to America and the U.S.S.R!”--filled the streets of Tehran and other cities to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the overthrow of Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi by supporters of the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. The leftist opposition Moujahedeen group announced in Paris that its guerrillas marked the anniversary by firing rocket-propelled grenades into the Tehran prosecutor’s office, killing or wounding a number of people. There was no confirmation of the attack.
