Mine Blast Kills 2 Poles

WARSAW —
An explosion tore through a burning coal mine in southern Poland, killing two workers and injuring 21 who had been attempting to put out the fire, the official Polish news agency PAP reported Tuesday. The 23 firefighters were inside the Niwka-Modrzejow mine in the southern town of Sosnowiec on Monday.
