Narcotics officers arrested four men suspected of distributing drugs to dealers and seized narcotics, cash and guns from two homes, police said.

The arrests Tuesday resulted from a three-month investigation of the homes, police said. The men are suspected of “distributing to street-level dealers,” said Lt. Greg Cooper, in charge of special investigations.

Salvador Navarro, 37, and Jose Navarro, 26, who are related, were arrested on a search warrant at 2018 W. Civic Center Drive, Apartment D. Six ounces of heroin, an ounce of cocaine and one handgun were seized, police said.

Raul Alvarez, 34, and Honorato Barragan, 41, were arrested as they were leaving their residence at 1913 W. Civic Center Drive. Officers seized one-fourth ounce of cocaine, $6,000 in cash, four handguns and one rifle.

Police estimated the total street value of all the narcotics seized at $70,000.

“It’s a very significant arrest. We feel it will dry up the source for these people,” Cooper said.

All four were booked into Orange County Jail, and bail was set at $25,000 each.
