S. African Wholesale Prices Up 11.4% 1984

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa —
Wholesale prices in South Africa rose 11.4% in 1984, the Central Statistical Services Office in Pretoria reported.
Wholesale prices were up 0.99% in December from a month earlier, the office said. Earlier, it had reported that consumer prices rose 13.3% in 1984, the highest level of inflation in two years.
