U.S. Starts Drive to Help Elderly Avoid Accidents

WASHINGTON —
The government announced a nationwide education campaign Thursday to help the elderly avoid household accidents.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said it will distribute, with the help of other federal agencies and private consumer and senior citizen groups, booklets with safety tips on areas ranging from the bathtub to the kitchen sink.
