Boston Charges Dropped in Anti-Apartheid Protest

BOSTON —
Prosecutors dropped trespassing charges Monday against 12 persons arrested during a protest against the South African government’s apartheid policies, saying that a jury trial would be too expensive and that a Boston courtroom was not the place to debate racial segregation laws.
