NEW YORK —
Condemning Conservative Judaism for deciding to accept women rabbis, the president of the National Council of Young Israel urges all Orthodox Jewish groups to sever theological ties with non-Orthodox organizations.
Harold M. Jacobs says the decision for women rabbis by the Rabbinical Assembly, representing Conservative Judaism, indicates “it’s abandonment of all respect” for “authenticity of our religious heritage.”
