Chinese Grain for Africa

PEKING —
China said Wednesday it will send 50,000 tons of grain to drought-stricken African nations in the first six months of this year. A Foreign Ministry spokesman said China is deeply concerned about the African drought, and that last year, it donated 120,000 tons of relief grain to Africa.
