Children Less Fit Than 20 Years Ago, Study Says

A recent national survey revealed that children today are less physically fit and have a higher concentration of body fat than children of 20 years ago.

According to the survey, of a group of 360 children aged 7 to 12, 98% showed signs of at least one major risk factor for developing heart disease, including high cholesterol and blood pressure levels.
