First Phase of Royal View Homes Opens in Canoga Park

Royal View, a community that, on completion, will contain 49 single-family homes, opens today in Canoga Park with its first phase of 20--11 of which have been sold--ready for immediate occupancy. Construction is under way on the second phase of 29.

Homes are offered in three two-story floor plans with nine Tudor and Cape Cod exterior treatments. They have three and four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths in 2,021 to 2,395 square feet and are priced from $192,950 to $238,900. The community is a joint project of W S L Development and Riches Development Co.

Features include circular stairways with handcrafted oak railings, vaulted ceilings, skylights, wood-burning fireplaces in master suites, breakfast nooks, family rooms, kitchen pantries and interior laundry rooms. Roofs are concrete tile.

Model homes, two fully and one partially furnished, are open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends at 7801 Marquand Ave.
