San Diego County Home Sales Climb

San Diego County home sales during 1984, both in subdivisions and of existing houses, gained 18.88% over the level of 1983, according to Safeco Title Insurance Co. of San Diego.
New-home sales in subdivisions rose from the 10,364 recorded in 1983 to 13,882, an increase of 33.94%. Last year’s total was 77.88% higher than the figure for 1982.
Resales of existing homes rose 13.67% in 1984, climbing from 1983’s total of 29,936 to 34,029. Last year’s figure was 60.53% greater than the total of sales in 1982.
