Existing Home Sales Dips 2.7%

WASHINGTON — Sales of existing homes dipped 2.7% in February to an annual rate of 2.92 million units, the National Assn. of Realtors said today. The private trade group said a market correction for January’s record sales pace in the Northeast was largely responsible for the seasonally adjusted decline from January’s 3-million-unit annual level.
