A district attorney in Athens was shot to death outside his suburban home by two masked attackers who escaped on a motorbike. A previously unknown group calling itself “Anti-State Struggle” claimed responsibility for the killing of George Theofanopoulos, 50, leaving a leaflet at the scene of the shooting.
