Two inmates were stabbed at Folsom Prison, the 54th incident this year at the maximum-security prison, officials said. The building where the stabbing occurred was placed in “temporary lock-down,” prison spokesman Jack Corrie said. It had been locked down last Friday after a stabbing, but the lock-down was eased before the latest incident, he said. The names of the victims were not released. One was in good condition at University Medical Center in Sacramento with wounds in his right arm. The other was treated at the prison infirmary for superficial wounds and was returned to his cell. Guards heard a scuffle as inmates were returning from breakfast, Corrie said. A guard fired a warning shot into the air and a group of inmates fled. Two 10-inch knives fashioned from television antennas were found, Corrie said.
