Britain will sell its share of British Aerospace.

British Aerospace, one of the world’s largest makers of aircraft, space equipment and missile systems, launched its marketing campaign to sell the British government’s share of the company. Margaret Thatcher’s Conservative government is expected to raise $735 million by selling its remaining 48% share in the formerly state-owned company in early May. The government will retain the power to restrict foreign share ownership.
