24 Die in Sri Lanka Clash

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka —
Twenty separatist guerrillas and four policemen were killed in a three-hour battle when guerrillas attacked the Jaffna police station in Sri Lanka’s Northern province, officials said Thursday. They said the guerrillas Wednesday night also attacked the Jaffna municipal council office building close by.
