Group Honors Ethel Bradley
Ethel Bradley, wife of Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley, was honored by Women at Work, an organization formed to foster Christian education, at a Century Plaza Hotel dinner Monday night for dedicating her life “to helping other people in a quiet and determined manner,” in the words of dinner coordinator Bethel Smith.
Proceeds of the affair will go to Southwestern Christian College in Terrell, Tex., whose president, Jack Evans Sr., was the speaker.
