4 Ulster Police Injured

BELFAST, Northern Ireland —
Four policemen were injured Wednesday night when suspected guerrillas using automatic weapons and a grenade ambushed an armored car in central Belfast, police said. They said a grenade exploded as it hit the vehicle, which was also raked with fire from the automatic weapons. No fire was returned, they added.
