Reagan Policy in Central America
Ledeen states that he has not seen “any of the self-proclaimed experts on Central America racing to study the Grenada documents” (captured in the U.S. invasion) that show Soviet Bloc cooperation with Maurice Bishop’s government on that island.
Well, I have not seen any Georgetown University “experts” running to study the CIA’s game plan for Nicaragua or the Reagan Administration’s massive support for the bloody Salvadoran military (all of which is well-documented).
Perhaps Ledeen need not study this side of the coin since it is he and other right-wing “experts” who formulate the Administration’s hypocritical policy in the first place.
