The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. is seeking to recover “golden parachute” payments made to four former officers of Continental Illinois National Bank. The suit was filed in U.S. District Court in Chicago. The FDIC wants the return of separation payments to former Continental officials Roger Anderson, $1.18 million; Donald Miller, $587,000; John Perkins,$950,000, and George Baker, $420,000. In a joint statement, the former officers denied the FDIC allegations that their severance payments were improper.
