Intermarriage ‘Cure’

A closed mind and a hard heart are greater threats to Jewish life than intermarriage.

I believe more Jews are lost to Judaism when one insists on a more parochial, ritualistic approach rather than a democratic, universalistic ideal with greater emphasis on spirit than on tribal adherence.

It brings to mind a verse often used in bettering intergroup relations: “Stranger that he was/He stood without/But love and I had the will to win/We drew a circle and took him in.”
