Auction Slated for Parcel in Monterey Park

An auction of the last major parcel of developable land in the city of Monterey Park will be held May 28 at the Lincoln Plaza Hotel, 123 S. Lincoln Ave., Monterey Park.
The sale of the 30-acre parcel with an approved tentative tract map for 101 single-family houses will be conducted beginning at 10 a.m. by the Piatelli Co., Beverly Hills-based real estate auctioneers.
A partnership dissolution has forced the sale of the hillside parcel west of Atlantic Boulevard. The property has a valuation of $5,989,300, according to a Piatelli spokesman.
