Monte Verde Estates Opens Single-Family Dwellings

Monte Verde Estates, a Planned Unit Development of 29 ocean-view, single-family homes, opens today in Rancho Palos Verdes with eight houses priced from $570,000 to $796,000.

Designed by Corbin/Yamafuji & Partners Inc. of Irvine, the homes are available in four floor plans ranging in size from 2,796 to about 4,500 square feet with three to five bedrooms, 2 1/2 to 4 1/2 baths, skylights, fireplaces, a wet bar, central vacuum system, intercom, French doors, breakfast nook, trash compactor, and library, den or game room.

The homes will also have balconies, sun decks and wood, brick and stone exteriors with tile or fire-retardant cedar shake roofs when most will be ready for occupancy in August. (Two are ready now.) Greenbelts and parkways designed by Frank Radmacher & Associates of Tustin will be maintained by the homeowners association at an initial monthly fee of $73.67.

A furnished model designed by Bobbie Stearn ASID Inc. of El Toro, three unfurnished models and a sales office staffed by Very Important Properties of Rolling Hills Estates and located at 30104 Avenida Celestial will be open daily except Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monte Verde Estates is a project of La Solana Corp. of Irvine.
