Where was John Pope’s class ring on “Space”? I have never known an academy man who didn’t display one of those official heavy gold symbols for the rest of his life. We’ve always known that some men choose to go to Annapolis only to be eligible to buy the rings. And where was Penny’s miniature? Such an engagement ring is always given to the “one and only.” There were many shots of the hands of both John and Penny in “Space,” and they wore only wedding bands. Most unauthentic!
