Another Title
Having passed the three-quarter century mark, you can believe that I have seen many acronyms for groups, both large and small; some have been chosen by group members; some given to the groups by others.
The latest to come to my attention is “Yuppies.” This refers to “Young Urban Professionals” I have observed, however, that many who consider themselves to be within this group are not professionals in the traditional sense.
They do seem to have one characteristic in common. They are all conservatives. I, therefore, suggest the title “Young Urban Conservatives” or “Yuccies.”
