Man Who Apparently Set Bomb Dies in Blast

HANOVER, West Germany —
A bomb explosion damaged a building at the Hanover fairgrounds and killed the man who apparently planted the device, police said Sunday.
The blast late Saturday broke windows and damaged the front of an eight-story administration building, police said.
Police found the body of a 37-year-old man at the site and discovered bomb-making manuals in his apartment. No fair was in progress at the time of the explosion, and police said they knew of no motive for the attack.
