White House Intruder Given Suspended Term

WASHINGTON — A man accused of illegally entering the White House during President Reagan’s inauguration ceremonies by following a Marine Corps band pleaded guilty Monday and was given a 30-day suspended sentence.
Robert Latta, 45, of Denver was placed on one year’s probation by District of Columbia Superior Court Judge Paul F. McArdle.
