Two Sickest Septuplets Still Critically Ill
The two sickest surviving Frustaci septuplets remained critically ill, showing no improvement since their condition deteriorated Sunday night, a spokesman for Childrens Hospital of Orange County said. James Martin and Bonnie Marie, the second and fourth infants born to Sam and Patti Frustaci of Riverside on May 21, are suffering from severe lung disease. The other three surviving septuplets, Patricia Ann, Stephen Earl and Richard Charles, also have the disease but are stable and are improving, the hospital spokesman said. The sixth septuplet died 64 hours after birth and the seventh was stillborn.
