The Three Cs of Education

Bennett’s pedantic meanderings were enough to convince me that there should be no federal role in public education whatsoever. Bennett speaks not as a leader, but as an armchair expert with a lot of time on his hands. I think it’s time for the President to dismantle the Department of Education as he promised he would do. The states, cities and local districts could then carry on educational programs without the excess baggage and ideological pap of a White House messenger boy.
