InterNorth will divest four natural gas pipelines.
The Omaha-based natural gas company agreed to divest the four Texas pipelines to settle antitrust questions raised by the Federal Trade Commission over the company’s $2.3-billion acquisition of Houston Natural Gas. InterNorth also agreed to dissolve a joint venture with Valero Transmission, a San Antonio-based natural gas company. InterNorth has a year to dispose of the pipelines.
