Shultz Plans 12-Day Asian Trip

WASHINGTON —
Secretary of State George P. Shultz will make a 12-day visit to Asia next month with stops in Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Fiji and Hong Kong, the State Department announced today.
Shultz will leave Washington July 5. He will meet with officials of the Assn. of Southeast Asian Nations on July 11 and 12 and return July 18, after a stop in Honolulu to make a speech.
