Nuclear Device Tested

PAHUTE MESA, Nev. —
A nuclear device with a yield of between 20 and 150 kilotons was successfully detonated underground today at the Nevada Test Site, the Department of Energy said. The test was delayed more than two hours because of unpredictable winds.
