Stouffer and Daon reported a joint development.

Stouffer Hotel and Daon Corp. said they plan to develop a $65-million, 400-room luxury resort in Indian Wells, Calif. Construction is expected to start late this year, with completion scheduled for the fall of 1987. Stouffer will operate the resort located on State Highway 111 about 13 miles southeast of Palm Springs on land owned by the two companies. The development will be named Stouffer Indian Wells Resort.
