From Reuters
VICTORIA, Canada —
British Columbia police are investigating the disappearance of an estimated $750,000 worth of gold Krugerrands from a local coin shop.
The 2,000 to 2,500 South African coins, each containing an ounce of pure gold, were reported missing earlier this year, but police disclosed the incident only this week after they searched the coin shop and took away several boxes of files.
