A-Plant Yields First Power

BURLINGTON, Kan. —
The Wolf Creek nuclear power plant, begun in 1977, on Thursday delivered its first electricity to the 700,000 customers of the three utilities that own it, a spokesman said. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission on June 3 approved a full-power license for the facility.
