This letter is in regard to the article on Jaclyn Smith (“Fantasy a Reality to ‘All-American’ Jaclyn” by Mary Rourke, View, May 24).

(Regarding) Jaclyn’s supposed unconcern over losing her wedding ring . . . (making her appear as) one who held little regard for a symbol a wedding ring represents and the husband she loves: Her priority is wife and mother, the most important role she will ever play.

Because her home is very formal, decorated with antiques and has a certain ambiance of the Victorian Era does not make it a movie set. Corrections: The house is not equipped with a gym or an elevator.
