Satisfying Sacrifice

I am severely allergic to cigarette smoke and am therefore compelled to personally boycott items produced by tobacco companies. I stopped drinking 7-Up years ago (now owned by Philip Morris).

I see that I shall have to give up A-1 Sauce and Del Monte canned goods (produced by R. J. Reynolds) as well as all Nabisco products, due to the proposed acquisition of Nabisco Brands by R. J. Reynolds Industries (“R. J. Reynolds Makes $4.9-Billion Offer to Buy Nabisco Brands” June 3). My buying habits will have very little impact on the overall sales of the tobacco companies, but will give me great personal satisfaction.
