Reading in The Times about Immigration and Naturalization Service raids in Santa Ana, I couldn’t help but react in a commendable fashion as to how Police Chief Raymond C. Davis has kept his word to the Latino community by not contributing assistance in the raids.
The Latino community in Orange County will not forget Chief Davis for a long time, and a word of thanks is in order for his sensitivity and good sense of fairness to the undocumented residents.
