The Tournament of Roses Assn. presented a check for about $1.1 million to the City of Pasadena this week, representing the city’s share of profits from the 1985 Rose Parade and Rose Bowl game. The check, presented to the Board of City Directors on Tuesday, represented the first proceeds distributed under a 25-year contract signed last year that reorganized the way expenditures and revenues from the New Year’s Day activities are divided between the Tournament Assn. and the city.
