Ike Turner Charged on Four Drug Counts
Four felony drug counts were filed Wednesday against musician Ike Turner by the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
Turner, 52, the former husband of Grammy Award-winning singer Tina Turner, was arrested at his North Hollywood home last week by Pasadena police after the musician agreed to sell 10 ounces of cocaine to an undercover officer for $16,000, the district attorney’s office said. Two other people also were arrested.
Turner faces charges of, among other things, possession and conspiracy to sell cocaine.
