Robert N. Burr, a UCLA history professor, has been named director of the university’s International Studies and Overseas Programs. The program monitors exchange activities with institutions in Africa, Asia, Russia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Near East, and oversees UCLA’s Center for International and Strategic Affairs.
