4 Climbers Die in Fall

CHAMONIX, France —
Four mountaineers, two Americans and two Austrians, were killed in a fall when their ropes came unscrewed on the 11,500-foot Triolet peak in the Mont Blanc range, police said today. No further details were immediately available about Monday’s accident and the names of the dead were not released.
