The Shiremanstown, Pa.-based firm said it has decided to discontinue its nine Heaven stores, all located in the East, that it operates under a licensing agreement with the Century City-based Heaven chain. The five Heaven stores located in California, which are owned and operated by the chain’s founders--William Cohn, Martin Berens and Russell Berens--are not affected. Rite Aid also said it is selling its 190 Circus World Toy stores to Greeman Bros., owner of Playland Toy stores.
