Athens Air Security Rated OK

GENEVA —
Security at the Athens airport has been raised to internationally acceptable levels since the hijacking of a TWA jetliner last month, the head of the International Air Transport Assn. said today.
IATA Director-General Guenter Eser said Greek authorities had cooperated fully in making permanent improvements and had allocated additional manpower to security tasks. Monitoring of security at the airport will continue, he said.
