Barbecue sauces come in a wide range of flavors--sweet to tangy, mild to spicy. Sour cream adds uniqueness to the following recipe. It's particularly delicious on pork spareribs.
1 cup sour cream
3/4 cup catsup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
Blend sour cream and catsup. Add Worcestershire, lemon juice, brown sugar, salt, pepper and dry mustard. Stir well.
Use as basting sauce during last few minutes of grilling. Makes about 1 3/4 cups.
