USFL Backers Find Downey ‘Unfunny’
The USFL looks like a dead duck, but I want to go on record as saying I enjoyed the league, the teams and the players.
The original concept was great, and the NFL should take note. Two-point conversions, kicking tees on PATs and field goals, and instant replay decisions are positive additions to pro football.
