The final $8-million, 31-house phase of Studio Estates in Culver City, a development of Goldrich & Kest Industries, Culver City, may be sold out before it opens in November, according to Mark Bornstein of G&K.; He attributes interest in the development to falling mortgage rates and the popularity of single-family homes on the Westside where condominiums are the norm. Prices range from $225,000 to $275,000 for the three- and four-bedroom homes.

Thirty-nine of the 49 single-family homes for sale at Indian Meadows in Simi Valley were sold in the six weeks after their release, according to Steve Hoglund of CoastFed Properties, the developer. Prices range from $140,250 to $166,000 for the three- and four-bedroom houses.

Cobblestone Village in the Sunnymead area of Moreno Valley reported 15 sales in two weeks. The single-family development by Covington Homes, Fullerton, features five plans, with two-, three- and four-bedroom houses priced from $63,990 to $84,990.

Parc Chateau, an Upland single-family development by Lowy Development Corp., Los Angeles, has only six homes remaining. The three-bedroom houses range from 1,816 to 2,238 square feet and are priced from $134,995 to $169,995. The 36-unit development is at 2193 Lorraine Drive, on the west side of Mountain Avenue between 21st and 22nd streets.
