35 Dead in India Floods

NEW DELHI —
Weekend floods have left at least 35 people dead and cut railroads and highways in northern India. In Punjab state, 32 deaths were reported. Three fatalities occurred in neighboring Himachal Pradesh state, in the Himalayan foothills.
